Joining Jafakids

The Jafakids journey begins with Muster, a first introduction for young riders looking to join the academy.

Held during the September/October school holidays, these rides serve as a crucial step, offering riders and their families a chance to experience the Jafakids club firsthand.

Why Muster Is Important

Muster rides are designed to:

• Give new riders and their parents/guardians a glimpse into the Jafakids experience.

• Allow coaching staff to assess new riders' abilities and ensure they’re ready to hit the trails.

• Offer senior and experienced Jafakids members an opportunity to mentor and guide younger, less experienced riders.

What Coaches Look For

During the Muster rides, Jafakids coaches assess riders based on key skills and readiness, including:

✅ Trail Riding Ability – Navigating natural obstacles and handling varied terrain.

✅ Confidence on the Trails – Comfort and composure while riding in different conditions.

✅ Bike Size & Setup – Ensuring riders have the correct bike fit and essential adjustments.

✅ Fitness Level – Strength and endurance to enjoy longer trail rides.

✅ Attitude – A positive and determined approach to learning and riding.

✅ Equipment – Proper safety gear and a well-maintained bike.
